Accountant Required
- We are looking for a focused, smart, and industrious Accountant to join our growing team. As an Accountant, you will provide vital support to the Finance Team to help streamline the company's financial processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- • Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
- • Manage all accounting transactions and ensure compliance with organizational guidelines and procedures.
- • Resolve account payable and receivable issues or queries on call/emails effectively.
- • Accurately perform daily reconciliations of cash, check and credit card transactions, and tally and file invoices
- • Basic knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping
- • Have knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements.
- • Oversee bank reconciliations and balance financial records.
- • Keep updated budgets; able to handle monthly payroll disbursements and invoices and confirm expense vouchers and purchase orders.
- • Identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
- • Complete end of month close procedures.
- • Utilize database management systems to maintain up-to-date record keeping of financial documents.
Qualification & Experience:
- • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in accounting
- • Proven 4-5 years of work experience as an Accountant, or any similar role.
- • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, including Vlookups and pivot tables.
- • Familiarity with accounting software.
- • Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality about company accounts.
- • Able to complete work to deadlines with little direct supervision.
- • Driven, self-motivated, and goal oriented.
- • Strong critical thinking and mathematical reasoning skills
- • Superior verbal communication skills
- • Should be open to visiting Corporate Clients for any discussion regarding financial discrepancy.
