Position: Structural Technician/Locksmith
About the Job:
V2X works across the globe, integrating physical and digital infrastructure from base to battlefield. Our team of 16,000 employees, part of a $3.9B company, works with clients worldwide, providing solutions with integrity, respect, and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, modify, and open a variety of locking mechanisms (doors, desks, compartments, mobile equipment, safes, vaults).
- Manufacture keys and install lock cores.
- Re-core and re-pin locks, and change lock combinations (including safes, GSA containers, electronic locks, and entry controls).
- Disassemble locks and repair worn tumblers, springs, and other parts.
- Use lockpicking tools to open door locks without keys.
- Conduct inspections on vault and safe locks to determine their certification for security levels.
- Maintain key and lock logs for buildings, containers, and equipment.
- Perform preventive carpentry maintenance and related services (repairing/installing wooden doors, floors, walls, ceilings, windows, etc.).
- Carry out other duties according to contractual and mission requirements.
Other Requirements:
- Primarily indoor work, but may require outdoor support for events.
- Exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, and chemicals may occur.
- Overtime and shift work may be required based on contractual needs.
- Must adhere to all Federal, State, and Local regulations, and comply with company policies.
- Task-specific training will be provided as needed.
- Must be prepared to work in a wartime environment to support U.S. interests.
- 100% overseas assignment.
Qualifications:
Education/Certifications:
- High School Diploma/GED with 1-year additional education/experience.
- Fluent in reading and speaking English.
- U.S. Citizenship and active DoD Secret clearance required.
Experience:
- GSA Certified Safe and Vault Technician certification to work on GSA-approved containers, vaults, X-09 and X-10 locks, cipher locks, mechanical combination locks, door locks, and safes.
Skills:
- Ability to give and receive instructions effectively.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Must work cooperatively with others in a team environment.

المهارات:
