Responsibilities

• Manage SQL Server databases on virtual and physical machines (Standalone, FCI, AG)

• Perform proactive performance tuning and monitoring using T-SQL, PowerShell, system logs, and tools

• Maintain test, development, and production environments

• Create jobs and alerts to ensure system health

• Harden SQL systems per DISA STIG compliance

• Document operations and performance standards

• Recommend improvements in system speed, security, and availability

• Troubleshoot servers, infrastructure, and networking requirements

• Support customer service operations and meet tight deadlines

• Collaborate in a fast-paced, global IT environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, IS, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Minimum 5 years’ experience with SQL Server 2012 and newer

• Strong knowledge of virtualized and clustered SQL environments

• Familiarity with networking ports, protocols, and SQL-related services

• Strong communication, documentation, and troubleshooting skills

• Must hold an active Secret Clearance

• Compliance with DoD 8570.01M:

• IAT III Baseline Certification: (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CASP+)

• Computing Environment Certification: (e.g., MCSA/MCSE SQL Server or Azure certifications)

• خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في SQL Server 2012 وما بعدها

• معرفة قوية بالبيئات الافتراضية والمجمعة (Clustered)

• إلمام ببروتوكولات الشبكة والخدمات المتعلقة بـ SQL

• مهارات تواصل قوية وقدرة على التوثيق والتحليل الفني

• حاصل على تصريح أمني أمريكي ساري المفعول (Secret Clearance)

• الالتزام بمعايير DoD 8570.01M:
