Job Summary
- The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems based on tender documents, technical drawings, and market rates.
- The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, market awareness, and a solid understanding of MEP systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Review tender documents (BOQs, drawings, specifications) to understand project scope.
- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs for mechanical and electrical systems.
- Prepare competitive cost estimates including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and verify compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop technical and commercial proposals.
- Participate in value engineering and post-tender clarifications when required.
- Maintain and update the cost database with latest market pricing.
- Ensure timely and complete submission of bid packages.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
- 3–7 years of experience in MEP estimation/tendering within the contracting industry.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation tools (e.g., CCS Candy, PlanSwift).
- Excellent analytical, time management, and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with local/GCC codes, materials, and suppliers.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

- معرفة قوية بأنظمة التدفئة والتهوية وتكييف الهواء والكهرباء والسباكة ومكافحة الحرائق.
- الكفاءة في استخدام برامج AutoCAD و MS Excel وأدوات التقدير (على سبيل المثال، CCS Candy و PlanSwift).
- مهارات ممتازة في التحليل وإدارة الوقت والتنظيم.
- مهارات قوية في التواصل اللفظي والكتابي.
