Job description

• Admits patients by receiving bookings from physicians; interviewing patients; entering patient information to the admissions database; obtaining signatures on legal consents and insurance forms; distributing patient information literature.
• Provides patients with information by explaining hospital admission policies, time of admission, room selection; answering inquiries.
• Verifies patient identity; preparing and placing identification band on patient. Ensures patient’s arrival to hospital room or testing area by assigning patient beds; notifying nursing unit of patient’s arrival; calling volunteer to transport the patient to the assigned area.
• Maintaining patient records, which includes detailing patient treatments and diagnoses as well as updating payment and medical insurance information.

Call Center Agent

Job description

• Answers all incoming calls (outside or inside calls) meeting standards of good customer care.
• Provides accurate and appropriate information to any telephone inquiries.
• Transfers line to appropriate unit or person, when so required.
• Adheres to confidentiality and privacy of calls.
• Must be effective in achieving customer satisfaction on all relevant calls and over-the-  Counter transactions.
