Factory Manager

Job Purpose:
To manage company’s MV factory operations by directing the production team to manufacture high quality control panels.
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
Production planning: Develop and manage production plans and resource requirements for weekly, monthly and annual factory production requirements in-line with the business order from the clients.
Panel design process: Manage the panesl design process, ensuring all design diagrams and other metrics are met based on the product specification from the clients.
Factory operations: Manage THE COMPANY factory operations through design, fabrication, assembling teams and paint teams to manufacture a comprehensive range of low/medium voltage products through effective utilization of raw materials, manpower, equipment and facilities.
Quality Control: Manage the quality assurance and quality control team to comply with QC standards for all aspects of the assembled products and ensure that the product testing meets international standards.
Safety & Security compliance: Ensure compliance to all relevant safety and security procedures within the factory to guarantee employee safety and security as well as the legislative compliance.
Factory maintenance: Manage the preventive maintenance activities, breakdowns of mechanical, electrical and robotic equipment to ensure efficient operations.
Stores management: Manage the store to ensure accurate receipt, storage and despatch of raw material and other supplies based on factory production requirements.
Factory SOP: Design and implement a standard operating procedures for the factory operations and all related activities for the efficient utilization of resources and formalized control over the production process.
Client relationship: Coordinate with clients to ensure that the finished products are in-line with product requirements and delivery of finished products on time.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent degree in electrical engineering.
Knowledge
Knowledge of LV/ MV switchgear products and its assembly process.
Knowledge of quality system standard BS EN ISO 9001: 2000 and later versions
Experience:
Minimum 10 years’ experience in managing electrical control panel manufacturing and switchgear assembling factory operations with 2 years in managerial experience.
Experience in design and production process and automated machineries management.
Experience in project management and product commissioning activities.
