Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with prospects and clients to understand their unique needs and challenges, and provide them with tailored commerce solutions
- Lead and participate in high-volume outreach efforts through calls, emails, social media, and other channels to qualify leads
- Manage a comprehensive sales cycle from initial contact through to contract negotiations, maintaining a pipeline of opportunities
- Serve as a proactive point of contact for clients, ensuring an exceptional service experience
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance client engagements and outcomes
- Stay on top of the latest product features, industry trends, and market dynamics to provide the best possible advice and service to merchants
Senior Account Executive, Retail International (EMEA)
Key Requirements
- Proficiency in English is required; as well as a native or bilingual level of proficiency in Spanish, Swedish, Dutch, French, Danish or German
- Experience in a full cycle sales role, with a strong track record of successfully exceeding sales targets
- Demonstrated passion for hunting and acquiring new business and/or managing existing accounts, with a proven ability to identify and close high-value opportunities
- Extensive experience in negotiating complex deals, with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes
- Consultative and solutions-oriented mindset, with an ability to challenge assumptions and comfortably speak about various product offerings
- Extensive experience with outbound prospecting, cultivating a territory, and building a robust pipeline
- Comfort level with getting deep into technical product knowledge and becoming a Shopify product expert
- Ability to create multi-product pipeline generation strategies driven by sales, marketing, partnerships, events, etc
Senior Product Consultant, UK (EMEA)
Requirements for the Role:
- Solid understanding of Cloud-based technologies and SaaS fundamentals.
- Deep understanding of technical strategy as it relates to operating and growing commerce businesses.
- Strong API knowledge (REST and GraphQL) for enterprise integrations.
- Great troubleshooting and analytical skills combined with the desire to tackle challenges head-on.
- A powerful video conference presence with confidence handling executive-level conversations.
- Proven communication skills with the ability to set expectations and manage difficult conversations.
- A ‘solutions mindset’. Our largest and most complex merchants like to push the boundaries of commerce and will often custom build solutions within their architecture to help them get there.

- Solid understanding of concepts such as Edge Networks, Scalability, Identity & Access Management, Bot Mitigation, Data Resiliency, APIs, Middleware and iPaaS
- Solid understanding of technical strategy as it relates to operating and growing omni-channel businesses
- Great troubleshooting and analytical skills combined with the desire to tackle challenges head-on
