- Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST) was established in 2002 as Kuwait's first private American-model liberal arts university and affiliated with the Missouri University of Science and Technology (MS&T) & UMSL. GUST currently offers several programs in Arts and Sciences and Business, including an MBA degree. GUST is internationally accredited by various bodies, including ABET/CAC (Computer Science), ACA (Mass Communication), AACSB (Business), NOSS (Foundation Program Unit), and CEA (Foundation Program in English).

- Official high school transcripts (Outside Kuwait)
- One certified copy of an officially recognized secondary school certificate
- An iBT TOEFL, IELTS* score, or the results of a recently taken GUST English Placement Test (Accuplacer™). The iBT TOEFL or IELTS results must be from a center in Kuwait or from a center in an English speaking country
- The GUST Mathematics Placement Test (Accuplacer™) is compulsory for all applicants
- 30 KD application fee
- Three recent passport-size photographs with white background
- A copy of valid civil id and passport must be included
