 About Dar Al Shifa Hospital

In 1963, Dar Al Shifa Hospital (DASH) was established as the first private hospital in the State of Kuwait. Originally, it was a maternity hospital located in Sharq, Kuwait city. Since that time, the hospital became a leading healthcare organization in the region.

In 2003, shift in location allowed for an increase in both the inpatient beds and the outpatient clinics and eventually boosted the capacity to serve a wider segment of the population.


Dar Al Shifa Hospital is 230 bedded accredited facility constitutes of inpatient rooms (Imperial, Royal, Junior and Standard), labour rooms, neonatal units, Intensive Care Units, Operation Theatres, Emergency Room, Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory, Outpatient clinics and sub-specialized medical/surgical fields. Also, it has well-equipped ancillary services with the latest technologies.


Over the last few years, DASH has proved itself as a trustworthy organization in which patient/family-centred care is provided through a competent and diverse team of health care professionals utilizing the latest technology and applying evidence-based practices. Another significant achievement of DASH is attaining recognized international accreditation and awards from Accreditation Canada and the American College of Radiology. Also has been the first in the country to attain of HIMSS 7 certification for inpatient and outpatient setting.


Today, DASH is continuously growing and evolving as a distinguished health care organization with a focus on providing comprehensive and specialized services to meet the needs of the community.

Claims Auditor 

 Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Claims Auditor at Dar Al Shifa Hospital located in Ahmadi, with the option for some remote work. The Claims Auditor will be responsible for auditing claims, handling insurance claims, and utilizing analytical skills to ensure accuracy and compliance.

 Qualifications

  • Claims Auditing and Claims Handling skills
  • Analytical Skills and Auditing knowledge
  • Experience in insurance and healthcare industry
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Certification in auditing or insurance is a plus
