Senior Commercial Specialist - Kuwait

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Negotiate contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with company standards.
  • Lead and manage the preparation and submissions of bids, tenders and proposals including required coordination with the engineering team.
  • Conduct cost estimation, price analysis, and evaluate RFQs to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
  • Commercial activities during contract execution such as VO negotiation, delivery, payment collection etc.
  • Assess and mitigate credit risks by providing insights on payments terms, guarantees, and financial stability of clients.
  • Promote and develop new businesses through PQ applications.
  • Prepare detailed reports on commercial activities, biding outcomes, and contract performance for internal stakeholders.
  • Make and follow-up forecast of order taking, revenue and cash flow.
  • Build and maintain a strong customer relationship, action as the primary point of contact for key clients.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including finance, procurement, and engineering to ensure a smooth execution of projects.
  • Keep abreast with the market trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices to support business development.
  • Assist the project managers in resolving contractual issues related to site acquisition.
  • Prepare and develop comprehensive reports, and updates to the HOD (Commercial), providing insights and recommendations for informed decision-making.
  • Any other related tasks assigned as per the management’s requirements.
