Requirements & Responsibilities
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in architectural and/or MEP drafting works.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and rendering software such as 3ds Max, SketchUp or equivalent.
- Ability to prepare accurate and coordinated shop drawings in line with project specifications and consultant requirements.
- Ability to develop and update as-built drawings reflecting actual executed site works.
- Ability to prepare room books, schedules, material references, finishes, fixtures and related project information.
- Ability to produce clear, organized and professionally presented drawings for consultant review and approval.
- Ability to prepare drawings, layouts and presentation materials for client presentations and design meetings.
- Ability to coordinate drawings with architectural, structural and MEP disciplines to resolve clashes and discrepancies.
- Ability to revise and update drawings based on comments from consultants, clients and project teams.
- Experience in Kuwaiti construction projects and familiarity with local consultant requirements is an advantage.

KBG is hiring a senior plumbing engineering professional to lead plumbing department activities across construction projects in Kuwait.

Requirements & Responsibilities
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in plumbing engineering, with proven experience in leading teams and managing multiple projects.
- Ability to lead the plumbing department and oversee plumbing activities from tender stage to project completion.
- Ability to prepare and review pricing and tender submissions, including quantities, cost estimates and technical evaluations.
- Ability to monitor department performance and provide daily updates on project progress.
- Ability to coordinate manpower requirements including planning, mobilization and allocation of site labor and supervisory staff.
- Ability to review and supervise plumbing shop drawings in coordination with drafting and engineering teams.
- Ability to coordinate plumbing works with architectural, structural, electrical and HVAC works to avoid clashes and delays.
- Ability to prepare, review and submit technical submittals, material submittals, method statements and project documentation.
- Ability to coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and procurement teams.
- Ability to monitor project costs, productivity and resource utilization for successful project delivery.
- Compliance with project specifications, local regulations, health and safety requirements and quality standards.
- Experience in Kuwaiti construction projects and familiarity with local authority requirements is an advantage.

- Ability to study project documents thoroughly and identify discrepancies between architectural, structural and other discipline drawings.
- Ability to review drawings and specifications to ensure coordination and constructability before execution.
- Ability to work closely with the Project Manager to understand requirements, priorities and deliverables.
- Ability to prepare and monitor weekly schedules and task allocations for the architectural team.
- Ability to coordinate with subcontractors, procurement teams, consultants and other project stakeholders.
- Ability to assess drawings and technical documents quickly, identify potential issues and propose practical solutions.
- Strong technical understanding and attention to detail.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills for design proposals, technical solutions and project updates.
- Ability to lead and mentor the architectural team while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office and other relevant architectural software.
- Previous experience in luxury residential and commercial projects in Kuwait is preferred.
