Local Purchaser
Main Responsibilities :
To purchase project materials, communicate with suppliers , prepare inquiry documents about commercial standards, BOQ’s and Drawings.
Review vendors and supplier’s quotations to determine best price and deliver date.
Prepare & issue purchase orders in accordance with selected suppliers, price and technical specifications.
Qualifications & Experience :
· Documentation regarding LC, other procedures, etc
· Communication and computer Skills
· Knowledge of Oil Field, industrial and maintenance
· Experience in Customs clearance and transportation
· A Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in any discipline
Senior Mechanical Estimation Engineer
Responsibilities & duties :
1. Review Tender Documents and Preparing Techno-commercial Clarifications.
2. Attending Pre-tender Meetings & Site Surveys for understanding and investigating Scope & complexities.
3. Reviewing project specifications, standards and drawings. Quantity take off, Preparation of Procurement schedule as per the construction activity plan.
4. Floating Enquiries to vendors / sub-contractors for inviting quotations, preparing Price comparisons for the cost estimations and maintaining a directory of vendors, suppliers and sub-contractors.
5. Preparing technical & commercial documents for bid submission and ensuring that bids are professional in presentation, delivered on time and in compliance with the specifications and procedures.
6. To efficiently and effectively coordinate a multi-disciplinary group of Estimators throughout the tender phase.
7. To communicate efficiently and effectively with both the Tendering Manager and the Corporate Department Manager as required to bring clarity to new proposals.
8. To develop effective construction and manpower schedules for proposed projects in line with clients' requirements.
9. To maintain up-to-date knowledge regarding the execution efficiency and difficulties faced by current Company projects for use in future tenders.
10. To maintain up-to-date commercial knowledge of the local market including, tender results and competitor price levels.
