Key Responsibilities of the Spa & Recreation Fitness Instructor:
· Practice what they teach; Experts in Health and Fitness.
· Encourage members to follow a designed fitness program.
· Design and implement exercise program for individual guests as requested.
· Assist members and guest in developing attitudes of health and well-being through fitness, sport and recreation programs.
· Display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times and to promote a good company image to guests and colleagues.
· Conducting group classes and Personal Training.
· Demonstrate knowledge of the general principles of fitness and training, concepts of health and the effects of exercise on the human body.
· Is responsible for the safety of the guests and employees when they attend any fitness program.
· Is responsible for a clean Fitness Area and surrounding of the Fitness Area.
· Is responsible for all fitness Program equipment and sees to their constant maintenance and good condition.
· Ensures VIP customer receives the proper treatment, attention and recognition.
· Handles Telephone and courtesy manners as per company policy.
Requirements of the Spa & Recreation Specialist:
-Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry
-Ability to find creative solutions taking ownership for duties and tasks assigned
-Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence
-Experience of working with IT systems on various platforms
-Strong communication skills
