Job Summary:
Our company is seeking a dependable and experienced driver to join our team. As a company driver, you will be responsible for operating a company vehicle to transport goods and personnel safely and efficiently. You will also be responsible for conducting daily inspections and maintenance on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Responsibilities:
Transport goods and personnel to and from designated locations in a timely and safe manner
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure safe operation of the vehicle
Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other vehicle-related expenses
Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations, as needed
Communicate effectively with other team members and customers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services
Report any accidents or vehicle issues to the appropriate personnel
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a driver
Good knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good time-management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
Ability to lift and move heavy objects, if necessary
