About the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Regional Director of Sales to join the Sales and Marketing team of COLOURS OF OBLU and Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts.With a portfolio of 6 hotels, the Maldivian brands are strongly established in the GCC Region and the team is looking for a new head to strategically drive the business.
The ideal candidate would be passionate, willing to succeed as part of a team, willing to grow with the company and willing to mentor the junior team. The role would require the person to be a great communicator with an outgoing personality. Strong negotiation and networking skills are required.
The Regional Director of Sales will be responsible for planning and implementing sales strategy, initiating sales efforts, maintaining brand positioning and market share in established markets (UAE, KSA, Turkey, Egypt) and grow the same in other markets, reporting sales conversions, tracking booking, monitoring revenue, tracking customer satisfaction, and implementing marketing activities for the properties within the GCC Region.
The role is reporting directly to the Vice President Sales & Marketing for COLOURS OF OBLU / Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts.

Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree or 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
· Strong and established connection with key player in the Region.
· Arabic language is mandatory.
· Command of the English language both written and verbal.
· Wholesale and Leisure Sales experience is essential.
· Leisure Groups and Incentive Group experience is an advantage.
· Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the Sales/marketing/hospitality profession.
· Working experience in the Maldives or Indian Ocean centric experience is an advantage.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
