Job Responsibilities:
- Assessing students’ progress through homework, exam grades, and other evaluations.
- Building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Organizing classroom lectures and coursework.
- Assigning homework and engaging exercises to reinforce lessons.
- Identifying students with special requirements and creating tailored plans.
- Determining exam and assignment grades.
- Providing constructive feedback on student work and behavior.
- Keeping accurate records of attendance and grades.
- Researching new language teaching methods to improve classroom delivery.
- Managing classroom crises and resolving conflicts.
- Informing parents about their children’s performance and progress.
- Collaborating with fellow teachers and administrators to ensure a positive student experience.
- Reading prescribed novels, poetry, and resources to thoroughly understand them before developing lesson plans.
- Preparing students for both formal and informal assessments.
- Grading assignments, quizzes, exams, and other assessments, and communicating with students, parents, and teachers about concerns.
- Staying current with global events and integrating relevant themes into lessons.
- Ensuring all curriculum and school requirements are met.
- Providing extra support to struggling students and guidance to exceptional achievers.
- Using technology to enhance lesson delivery and record-keeping.
- Expanding your professional network through workshops and lectures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Relevant teaching certifications may be required.
- Completed apprenticeship or prior teaching experience is recommended.
- A strong interest in literature and language.
- Compassion, understanding, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a high-stress environment.
- Resilience and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Previous experience as an English teacher.
- Knowledge of various teaching methods and strategies.
- Deep understanding of the national curriculum and English language requirements.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Dedication to student success and education.

- التعاون مع المعلمين والإداريين لضمان تجربة إيجابية للطلاب.
- قراءة الروايات، الشعر، والموارد المقررة لفهمها بشكل جيد قبل إعداد خطط الدروس.
- تحضير الطلاب للتقييمات الرسمية وغير الرسمية.
- تصحيح الواجبات، الاختبارات، والامتحانات، والتواصل مع الطلاب، الآباء، والمعلمين بشأن القضايا.
- متابعة الأحداث العالمية وإدراج المواضيع ذات الصلة في الدروس.
- ضمان تلبية جميع متطلبات المنهج الدراسي والمدرسة.
- تقديم الدعم للطلاب المتعثرين والإرشاد للطلاب المتفوقين.
- استخدام التكنولوجيا لتحسين تقديم الدروس وحفظ السجلات.
- توسيع شبكات المعلمين والمشاركة في ورش العمل والمحاضرات والفرص التعليمية الأخرى.
المؤهلات:
- درجة بكالوريوس في اللغة الإنجليزية أو الأدب أو مجال مشابه (يفضل درجة الماجستير).
- قد تكون هناك حاجة إلى شهادات تدريس ذات صلة.
- يوصى بالحصول على تدريب مهني أو خبرة تدريسية سابقة.
- اهتمام قوي بالأدب واللغة.
- تعاطف وفهم ومهارات تواصل بين شخصية ممتازة.
