Project Supervisor
Responsibilities
- This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.
- Under the direction of the Project Manager, supervises the construction efforts of multiple projects (New construction, refurbishment, repair orders and assessments).
- Coordinate resources and efforts with in-house labor teams, subcontractors, materials and supply sections, military clients, end users and management to provide the necessary support to ensure the success of assigned projects.
- Facilitate and obtain any necessary pre-construction authorizations such as: permits, surveys, etc.
- Monitor and enforce project schedule, labor forecast and workload requirements to ensure the execution of all planned work.
- Coordinate logistical resources to ensure that all necessary materials and tools are ordered, inspected, delivered and on-site to accomplish the job.
- Direct the efforts of Trade Leads to ensure adequate site supervision, employee oversite and safety
- Supervise the daily activities of construction teams comprised of skilled and unskilled workers as well as subcontractors throughout all phases of construction, including: Inspection and closeout.
- Coach, teach, and mentor junior employees to ensure a safe, capable and ready work force as well as ensuring the timely and accurate completion of any mandatory, company directed training.
- Immediately advise the Project Manager of any changes to project specifications, scope and/or drawings
- Inspects each phase of work to ensure code compliance, and quality of workmanship requirements are met
- Utilizes various Project Management tools to monitor and control projects for adherence with scope, schedule, and cost
