Role Summary


Supervise the receipt, dispatching and storage of spare parts, manage warehouse staff, vehicles, and other equipment, ensuring efficient and organized storage.


Responsible for moving goods from one location to another. May be tasked with receiving, storing, and shipping products in the warehouse. May also be responsible for inspecting incoming shipments to ensure that they meet quality standards before being stored or shipped out.


Key Accountabilities


· Oversee purchasing, receiving, warehousing and distribution operations


· Implement operational policies and procedures


· Manage daily purchasing and warehousing activities, supervising staff and allocating tasks


· Manage supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines… etc.


· Maintain the supplier database, purchase records and related documentation.


· Maintain documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse and purchase activities.


· Coordinate with Garage/Maintenance and Finance departments to determine and manage inventory needs.


· Ensure that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.


· Ensure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.


· Ensure safety of employees.


· Prepare cost estimates and managing budgets.


· Work to improve purchasing and warehousing systems and processes.


· Motivate and disciplining (guiding) employees.


· Train new employees in the purchasing and warehousing process and how to use the purchasing system.


· Monitor computer screens or mobile device applications to track orders, inventory levels, and incoming shipments


· Communicate with other departments, such as shipping and accounting, to ensure all products are received and expedited in a timely manner.


· Keep records of warehouse inventory levels and product locations to ensure all items are accounted for.


· Maintain a safe work environment by following QHSSE guidelines for lifting heavy objects, wearing protective equipment, or using safety equipment such as forklifts.


· The above list of responsibilities is not exhaustive, and you may be required to undertake other responsibilities and training as requested by your line manager, appropriate to your grade and commensurate with the business need.


· 5 plus years in Procurement and Warehouse management.



· Inventory management: Ability to track and organize the flow of materials and products in a warehouse. This includes knowing how much of each product is in stock, where it is located in the warehouse and when it is due to be shipped. Ensure that the right products are in the right place at the right time.


· Data entry: Data entry is the ability to type quickly and accurately. Data entry is a necessary skill for warehouse specialists because they often need to enter information into a computer system. Data entry skills can also help you with inventory management, which is a common responsibility for warehouse specialists.


· Forklift operation: A warehouse specialist may be required to operate a forklift to move large items. This is a necessary skill for the job and one that employers expect you to have. Forklift operation involves knowing how to operate the machine, how to move the machine safely and how to load and unload the machine.


· Experienced in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and ERP software to extract and provide job cost analysis, project information, and produce related reports.

· Excellent understanding of warehouse and purchasing management procedures.


· Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.


· Strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills


· Able to make decisions under tight deadlines.


Bilingual – Preferable.
