Assistant Professor for Accounting
The Department of Accounting and MIS in the College of Business Administration at GUST invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Accounting or any related field to start in Fall 2023. The ideal candidate should hold a Ph.D. degree in accounting with an active research record and has teaching experience and specialization in auditing, forensic accounting, and financial reporting/taxation. The State of Kuwait does not recognize degrees from online universities.
Minimum Qualifications
The ideal candidate who should possess excellent communication skills in English must be ambitious, self-motivated, hard-working, with the ability to work both individually and as part of a multidisciplinary team where scientific creativity is essential. The applicant must have completed a Ph.D. in accounting or any related field from a reputable North American (U.S. or Canada) or European university with at least five years of teaching experience after the doctoral degree. Successful candidates should have published good quality publications and are expected to publish high-quality research in leading peer-reviewed journals and work in close collaboration with the research centers of the Graduate and Research office at GUST.
