- الحد الأدنى من سنوات الخبرة العملية الإجمالية بعد الحصول على المؤهل في صناعة النفط والغاز أو البتروكيماويات، مع التعرض لمشاريع النفط الثقيل. يفضل الخبرة في المنبع البري.
- الحد الأدنى لسنوات الخبرة العملية في مجال ذي صلة/تخصص داخل إحدى دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي. دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي المشار إليها هنا هي: دولة الكويت، ومملكة البحرين، والمملكة العربية السعودية، وسلطنة عمان، ودولة قطر، والإمارات العربية المتحدة.
