SENCO Lead
Key Responsibilities:
-
Lead the development and implementation of SEN policies and strategies in line with the British curriculum.
-
Identify, assess, and support students with special educational needs, ensuring tailored interventions and Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
-
Work closely with teachers to differentiate instruction and provide guidance on inclusive teaching practices.
-
Monitor and track the progress of students with SEN, ensuring effective interventions are in place.
-
Liaise with parents, school staff, and external agencies to provide coordinated support.
-
Provide training and professional development for teachers on best practices in SEN support.
-
Maintain up-to-date records in accordance with school policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
-
A relevant degree in Education, Special Educational Needs, or a related field.
-
A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
-
Experience in a SENCO role or working with students with special educational needs.
-
Strong knowledge of SEN policies and inclusion strategies within the British curriculum.
-
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
-
Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including teachers, parents, and external specialists.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية:

متابعة وتتبع تقدم الطلاب ذوي الاحتياجات التعليمية الخاصة، وضمان تنفيذ التدخلات الفعالة.
-
التنسيق مع أولياء الأمور وموظفي المدرسة والوكالات الخارجية لتوفير الدعم المتكامل.
-
تقديم التدريب والتطوير المهني للمعلمين حول أفضل ممارسات دعم SEN.
-
الحفاظ على سجلات محدثة وفقًا لسياسات المدرسة والمتطلبات التنظيمية.
المتطلبات:
-
درجة ذات صلة في التربية أو الاحتياجات التعليمية الخاصة أو مجال ذي صلة.
-
مؤهل تدريس معترف به (PGCE، QTS أو ما يعادلها).
-
خبرة في دور SENCO أو العمل مع الطلاب ذوي الاحتياجات التعليمية الخاصة.
-
معرفة قوية بسياسات SEN واستراتيجيات الإدماج في المنهج البريطاني.
-
مهارات اتصال وقيادة ممتازة.
-
القدرة على العمل بالتعاون مع مجموعة متنوعة من الأطراف المعنية، بما في ذلك المعلمين وأولياء الأمور والمتخصصين الخارجيين.
