About the job
JOB OBJECTIVE
Planning and coordinating the daily activities of the facilities staff/outsourced resources including instruction, assignment of tasks, monitoring progress and maintaining the work flow. The work includes overseeing the daily operations of various FM department, training and quality control of overall daily operations, upkeep of the buildings and grounds, monitoring services performed by vendors, ensuring compliance with fire/safety codes and providing support for company functions.
Responsibilities
Ensure the activities are within budget and cost effective
Supervise the implementation and usage of Computer Aided Facility Management System and ensuring that facility SOPs related to Security, Cleaning & Sanitation, and maintenance are implemented
Supervise the development and implementation of facility emergency plans which includes health & safety plan, equipment’s and emergency team.
Monitor the adherence to preventive maintenance checklists and preparation of reports
Ensures timely resolution of corrective maintenance requests
Monitor and review the performance of direct reports to identify improvements and developmental needs
Collects data and provides regular reports to management - incident, performance, compliance, troubleshooting reports.
Requirements
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office
Knowledge of AUTOCAD, able to understand engineering drawings
High level of verbal and written communication skills (English essential).
5 years of experience in MEP/HVAC/Facilities Management
Experience with retail and construction projects is preferred
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
Valid Kuwait Driver’s License
Flexibility of travel within Kuwait to attend/ respond to requirements in different facilities
