About the job
Graphic designers manage projects from concept to completion. Develop and produce material in printed or electronic format for clients. They may specialize in design for marketing communications, digital media and company identity.
Duties & Responsibilities:
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Design of print & digital materials.
2. Responsible for creating design solutions that have a high visual impact
3. works to a brief agreed with the client, creative director or account manager
4. The work demands creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time, costs and deadlines
5. Interpreting the client's business needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose;
6. Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts;
7. Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time;
8. Working with a wide range of media, including photography and computer-aided design
9. Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief.
10. Working on layouts and art working pages ready for print.
11. Keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs, FreeHand, Illustrator, Photoshop.
12. Working as part of a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, stylists, illustrators, other designers, account executives, web developers and marketing specialists
13. Knowledge of design suite and other software.
14. Work on packaging, branding & campaigns
General Requirements:
Minimum 5- 7 years' relevant experience
