Responsibilities
Develop and maintain WordPress websites using best practices and industry standards.
Customize and extend WooCommerce functionality to meet specific business requirements.
Implement responsive design principles to ensure seamless user experiences across devices.
Collaborate with designers and other developers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
Integrate third-party plugins, APIs, and payment gateways with WooCommerce.
Troubleshoot and debug WordPress and WooCommerce issues to ensure optimal website performance.
Perform regular website maintenance, updates, and security enhancements.
Required Skills:
WordPress Proficiency: Extensive experience working with WordPress, including theme and plugin development, custom post types, taxonomies, and hooks.
WooCommerce Expertise: In-depth knowledge of WooCommerce, including product setup, payment gateway integration, shipping options, and extensions.
Front-end Development: Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and responsive design principles. Experience with CSS preprocessors like Sass or Less is a plus.
PHP and MySQL: Solid understanding of PHP and MySQL database management, including custom theme and plugin development.
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues, identify bottlenecks, and propose efficient solutions.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to coding, ensuring clean, well-structured, and optimized code.
