Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Operations Manager located in Kuwait City Metropolitan Area. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing staff, ensuring high-quality service, coordinating with vendors, implementing standard operating procedures, and overseeing financial and budgetary management.


Responsibilities:


  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the F&B department. This includes ensuring that all food and beverage outlets are running smoothly, that staff are following company procedures, and that customers are receiving a high level of service.
  • Developing menus and ensuring that they meet the needs of the target market. This may involve working with chefs and other culinary staff to create new dishes, as well as sourcing ingredients and managing inventory.
  • Managing the budget for the F&B department. This includes tracking costs, setting budgets, and making sure that the department is operating within its financial constraints.
  • Overseeing staff training and development. This includes ensuring that all staff are properly trained on food safety procedures, customer service standards, and other relevant topics.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This includes conducting regular inspections of food preparation areas, ensuring that staff are following proper hygiene procedures, and keeping records of food temperature and storage.


  • Providing excellent customer service. This includes resolving customer complaints, ensuring that customers are satisfied with their food and beverage experiences, and creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for guests.
  • Launching new products or services. This may involve working with marketing and sales teams to develop and launch new menu items, promotions, or events.
  • Managing the F&B department's social media presence. This includes creating and posting content that promotes the department's offerings, as well as responding to customer comments and questions.
  • Working with other departments within the company, such as marketing, sales, and finance. This is important to ensure that the F&B department is aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Create and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs). KPIs are metrics that measure the performance of the operations department. Operations managers use KPIs to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and make strategic decisions.
  • Generate reports on operational performance. These reports may cover a variety of topics, such as sales, inventory, customer satisfaction, and employee productivity. Operations managers use these reports to track the department's performance over time and identify trends.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the restaurant industry with a minimum of 5 years in a management role
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment
  • Financial and budgetary management skills
  • Experience in implementing standard operating procedures
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field
  • Fluency in English and Arabic languages is preferred
