JOB TITLE: REGISTERED NURSE
DIVISION: ROYALE HOME HEALTH - HOMECARE - NURSING
JOB SUMMARY:
To ensure the safe provision of nursing services in collaboration with the patient/family and the multidisciplinary health care team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and prioritize visits to meet the health and scheduling needs of patients.
- Use the nursing process to develop, coordinate and implement care plans in collaboration with the patient/family.
- Complete thorough assessment, monitor and make clinical decisions for patients in their homes.
- Complete risk assessment of client’s home to ensure safety of staff and patient.
- Advocate for the patient and family to ensure optimal outcomes
- Administer all types of medications safely and according to policies, procedures and home care competencies
- Proficient in operating all equipment required for patient care in the home.
- Works as part of a team of health care professionals.
- Works collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary health care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Documents according to home care policy. (RHH MD APP)
- Acts in a professional and responsible manner.
- Provide health education and teaching to patient and family
- Participate in nursing continuing education program.
- Perform other tasks and duties within the scope of the knowledge, skills, and experience required for the job, as assigned by the immediate superior.
EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:
- Graduate of Bachelor of Nursing.
- License to practice nursing in Kuwait.
- Yearly Home Care and Community Nursing competency review.
- Maintains certification in BLS.
- Able to communicate both written and oral English, Arabic language skills desired but not required.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Three to five years nursing experience in home care and community desired with combination of experience in hospital Emergency, ICU, Medicine or Surgery, NICU considered an asset.

- Knowledge of Advanced Nursing

JOB TITLE: PHYSIOTHERAPIST
DIVISION: ROYALE HOME HEALTH - HOMECARE - REHAB
JOB SUMMARY:
Home-based physiotherapy services provide assessment and treatments to patients in their homes and communities for many conditions, including, neurological conditions, musculoskeletal, pediatrics, cardio-pulmonary, special needs and recovery from post orthopedics surgeries.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Report, coordinate and communicate with lead Physiotherapist
- Follows established program policies & procedures, objectives, accreditation requirements, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
- Conducts a functional assessment and physical evaluation of patients self-referred or referred from a physician.
- Plans and administers physical therapy programs for patients to maximize function, relieve pain and prevent disability.
- Consults with and refers patients to the patient’s physician if additional medical treatment is necessary
- Administrative Skills: Attention to detail, teaching & problem-solving skills and a team player
- Good communication. Good knowledge of computer and Internet
- Participates in educational programs and in-service training programs.
- Attends program meetings for the improvement of patient care services and delivery.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by Lead Physiotherapist.
EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:
- Bachelor/master’s degree in physical therapy.
- License to practice physiotherapy in home country and in Kuwait.
- Should be bilingual (native speaker in Arabic)
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- Female candidate with minimum 3 years’ experience post certification as a physiotherapist; preferably home care
- Middle East health care experience an asset
- Extensive experience in both geriatric and pediatric fields without a specific specialization.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in handling orthotic, therapeutic, assistive or adaptive equipment and techniques.
- Knowledge of quality control methods and statistics.
- Ability and judgment of the complexity of the patient’s condition and degree of risk associated with the treatment.
- Ability to understand the right indications, precautions and contraindications for any of the treatments moralities.

JOB TITLE: NURSING ASSISTANT/ PERSONAL SUPPORT WORKER/CAREGIVER

JOB SUMMARY:
Provides basic nursing care of patients in their homes and community based upon their scope of practice.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Attend patient’s home to provide basic nursing care.
- Follows the care plan for patients in their home. The care plan may include but not limited to the following nursing interventions:
- Assist patient with bathing or bed baths as needed
- Provide assistance with feeding the patient as needed
- Provide mouth care as needed
- Provide patient assistance with toileting and ambulating as required
- Monitor patient for any health-related changes
- Monitor patient’s skin integrity and prevent skin breakdown
- Documents according to home care policy. (RHH MD APP)
- Treat all patients with dignity and respect
- Maintain patient/family confidentiality and safety in the home
- Proficient in operating all equipment required for patient care in the home.
- Contacts the nursing supervisor for all adverse events and patient complaints.
- Reports any safety issues or concerns for staff or patients
- Works as part of a team of health care professionals.
- Acts in a professional and responsible manner.
- Participate in continuing education and training program.
- Perform other tasks and duties within the scope of the knowledge, skills, and experience required for the job, as assigned by the immediate superior.
EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:
- Graduate of Nursing Aid or Diploma nursing program/PSW Certificate

- Maintains certification in in-house BLS.

- One to two years basic nursing experience in home care
- Middle East health care experience an asset.

الخبرة العملية:
- مرشحة تتمتع بخبرة لا تقل عن 3 سنوات بعد الحصول على شهادة كأخصائية علاج طبيعي؛ ويفضل الرعاية المنزلية
