Projects Engineer
- A Project Engineer is in charge of planning and coordinating the commissioning team to make sure they can complete a project within their budget and according to a schedule.
- His duty includes upholding project standards by researching compliance regulations, developing project implementation plans and adjusting specifications for elements of a project.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- • Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned engineering projects.
- • Formulating project parameters and assigning responsibilities to the most capable employees and monitoring the project team.
- • Interacting with clients, interpreting their needs and requirements, and representing them in the field.
- • Performing quality control tasks on budgets, schedules, plans, and personnel performance and reporting on the project's status.
- • Cooperating and communicating with the management and other project participants and collaborating with senior engineers to create more efficient project methods and to maintain the project's profitability.
- • Reviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions.
- • Creating frameworks to measure the project's metrics and data collection.
- • Establishing field test methods and methods for monitoring the quality of those tests.
- • Ensuring the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards and specifications.
Knowledge:
- • Project management | Drawing reading and understanding | Resource management | Risk management and quality control | Safety procedures and requirements
Skills:
- • Supervision and project management |Leadership & decision making | Attention to detail | Strong written and oral communication | Critical thinking & problem solving | Working under pressure
Qualifications:
- B. S. Mechanical Engineering | KSE Approval | MS Project software | PMP certified | Driver License | Read & write English | 5 years’ experience minimum
