Founded in 2003, Gastronomica is the brainchild of Basil Al Salem with offices based out of Kuwait and Dubai. After nurturing his concepts part time in his home kitchen and inventing the alchemy that would transform a pedestrian product into the core part of a total dining experience, Basil was ready to launch his first restaurant, b+f Burger Boutique in 2005, which became an instant benchmark in the industry.

تأسست شركة Gastronomica في عام 2003، وهي من بنات أفكار باسل السالم، ولديها مكاتب في الكويت ودبي. وبعد رعاية أفكاره بدوام جزئي في مطبخ منزله واختراع الكيمياء التي من شأنها تحويل منتج عادي إلى جزء أساسي من تجربة تناول طعام كاملة، كان باسل مستعدًا لإطلاق أول مطعم له، b+f Burger Boutique في عام 2005، والذي أصبح معيارًا فوريًا في الصناعة.
