Full Job Description
Reggae Vybz Kitchen, a delivery-only Caribbean kitchen, is looking for a Prep Cook to join our growing team!
Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing ingredients for cooking.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and workstations.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and hygienic working environment.
- Assist the chef with basic cooking tasks and packaging meals for delivery.
- Manage inventory and ensure ingredients are properly stored.
- Support the kitchen team in any additional duties as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to Caribbean cooking techniques and styles.
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
