- Provides guidance and counseling services for students, utilizing parents, staff and community resources in the areas of academic achievement, career development, personal/social development and community involvement.
- Works with and through the team leader, department chair or guidance director, where applicable, in the area of student services.
- Maintains professional growth via staff development activities both within and outside the district. Provides for the implementation and delivery of the Guidance curriculum.
- Serves as on-staff resource with expertise in student services.
- Provides counseling services for students and advisement to parents, teachers, staff, and outside agencies. Counseling services may include, but are not restricted to, individual counseling, group counseling, classroom presentations and crisis intervention. Counseling services may include a review of psychological evaluations and standardized test scores.
- Assists with student scheduling, student placement, student records, parent conferences, Child Study Team (CST) referrals, outside agency referrals, school level articulation, and student recognition.
- Plans, implements and coordinates the delivery of the guidance curriculum for middle school with school staff.

مسؤوليات المرشد المدرسي:
- توفير خدمات التوجيه والإرشاد للطلاب، والاستفادة من أولياء الأمور والموظفين وموارد المجتمع في مجالات التحصيل الأكاديمي والتطوير الوظيفي والتطوير الشخصي/الاجتماعي والمشاركة المجتمعية.
- يعمل مع ومن خلال قائد الفريق أو رئيس القسم أو مدير التوجيه، حيثما ينطبق ذلك، في مجال خدمات الطلاب.
- يحافظ على النمو المهني من خلال أنشطة تطوير الموظفين داخل وخارج المنطقة. يوفر تنفيذ وتقديم منهج التوجيه.
- يعمل كمورد داخل هيئة التدريس يتمتع بخبرة في خدمات الطلاب.
