We are looking for Category Manager, who will play drive growth, profitability, and success through comprehensive category strategy, product curation, supplier relationships, pricing strategies, and cross-functional collaboration, ultimately positioning Abyat as a market leader in the kitchen/Lighting/Home Furniture products sector.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a strategic plan for the Kitchen/Lighting/Home Furniture category aligned with Abyat's business objectives.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform the category strategy.
Curate and manage a diverse and functional product assortment within the Kitchen/Lighting/Home Furniture category.
Work closely with product development teams to identify gaps in the current product offering.
Drive the introduction of new and innovative Kitchen/Lighting/Home Furniture products to meet evolving customer needs and preferences.
Ensure that all Kitchen/Lighting/Home Furniture products within the category comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
Stay informed about changes in regulations and work with suppliers to ensure continuous compliance.
Monitor the financial performance of the Kitchen/Lighting/Home Furniture category, analyzing sales data, margins, and profitability.
Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize revenue while staying competitive and meeting customer expectations.
Utilize data analytics tools to analyze sales trends, customer behavior, and other relevant data.
Generate regular reports to assess the performance of the Kitchen category and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations.
Ensure seamless communication, alignment of objectives, and effective execution of the Kitchen/Lighting/Home Furniture category strategy across different departments for holistic business success.
Oversee inventory levels for the Kitchen/Lighting/Home Furniture category, optimizing stock levels to prevent shortages and reduce excess or obsolete inventory.
