Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a HIM Officer at Lothan Hospital located in Kuwait City. The HIM Officer will be responsible for managing health information systems, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality, organizing and maintaining medical records, and adhering to regulatory requirements. The HIM Officer will also collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve data collection and workflow processes.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of health information management principles and practices
Experience in managing health information systems and medical records
Understanding of data privacy and confidentiality regulations
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Proficiency in relevant software and electronic health record systems
Knowledge of medical coding and classification systems
Certification in Health Information Management is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field
