The C-12 Transport A&P Aircraft Mechanic (King Air/C-12) FAA A&P services, repairs and overhauls assigned aircraft and subsystems to ensure airworthiness. Uses technical data to troubleshoot malfunctioning systems and repairs or replaces faulty components.
Operationally checks repaired or modified systems for proper operation.
Performs quality maintenance on assigned aircraft in accordance with federal aviation regulations, original equipment manufacturers, or military technical orders as specified in the statement of work instructions.
Repair and replace aircraft structures, such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls, and plumbing and hydraulic units, using hand tools, power tools, machines, and associated equipment.
Read and interpret manufacturers' and maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications
to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
Examine engines for oil leaks, and listens to operating engine to detect and diagnose malfunctions.
Inspect turbine blades to detect cracks or breaks.
Test engine operation, using troubleshooting procedures and diagnostic test equipment, to identify source of malfunction.
Replace or repair worn or damaged components using hand tools, gauges, and test equipment.

Work in Kuwait is contingent upon the applicant’s ability to obtain a work permit from the State of Kuwait, which is requested on the applicant’s behalf by their employer. Effective January 1, 2021, the Kuwait Public Authority of Manpower issued new work permit regulations, informing contractors that it will not issue a work permit to any individual who is fifty-nine (59) years or older and holds a high school grade certificate or less. A two-year college degree or higher is required for all candidates fifty-nine (59) years or older. See Administrative Decision No. (520) of 2020 AD – Amendment to the Administrative Decision No. (552) of 2018 on Issuing the Work Permit Regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs customer service for all GCSS-A related activities in accordance with the GCSS-A End User Manual (EUM).
Performs and edits according to internal quality control checks during the input of data from source documents.
Performs duties as the Shop Stock/The Army Maintenance Management System clerk
Generates GCSS-A reports as required.
