1-Pricing Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Understand customer needs to strategy the costing and or pricing.
- Negotiate cost-effective rates with service providers to ensure maximum profitability.
- Coordinates with airlines, shippers, local and overseas DSV offices for the quoting process of shipments.
- Maintaining continuous communication with vendors, shippers, carriers and DSV overseas offices throughout the quotation process and choosing proper routing appropriate to the customer's needs.
- Immediately report problems, operation disputes or discrepancies to supervisor, manager, or department head.
- Follow up to ensure the freight is cleared and delivered to customer on time, update systems accordingly
- Update the tracking sheet with freight status and send to the customer on daily basis.
- Negotiate and coordinate spot rates and/or quotations for shipments/services within our client’s database.
- Display a thorough understanding of industry-related terminology and processes.
- Strategize ways of increasing profits margins, while keeping cost at a minimum.
- Assist the sales team with business development and securing new business initiatives.
- Talk to the management on pricing performance and work closely with the operations and accounting team.
- Data entry in Cargo Wise 1 system as required.
- Any other related duties/projects assigned by the supervisor from time to time to meet the business exigencies.
Educational Qualifications & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 8 years of Freight operations – of which at least 4 years in a pricing role.
Competencies
- Strong people skills, excellent spoken, and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of freight and custom-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

2-Business Development Manager
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for local business development by acquiring new accounts and developing market share with existing customers to an agreed annual target
- Prepares a BD plan and manages the sales cycle, consistently monitors, and achieves set targets
- Manages the on-boarding of new accounts to ensure fulfillment of all requirements and smooth assimilation
- Generate leads, set appointments, and present business proposals to potential customers through various communication channels, including face to face meetings, telephone calls, emails, etc.
- Prepares prompt and precise presentations, plans, and communication exchanges with prospect customers
- Manage and maintain pipelines, respond to requests for information in a timely manner and remain proactive and responsive to prospective customers
- Conducts review meetings with internal stake holders including the account management, operation & logistics teams, and finance department
- Study the market inclusive, but not limit of competitors, carriers, market trends, fluctuation and change etc.
- Reviews the Interdepartmental, Inter Sectional and Client SLAs periodically. Recommends review of contracts and SLA’s where service levels exceed or cannot cope with requirements.
- Any other related duties assigned by the direct supervisor from time to time to meet business exigencies
Educational Qualifications & Certifications:
- Diploma / Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or equivalent
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Logistics & Freight Forwarding industry with exposure to sales and BD
Competencies

المسؤوليات:

- التنسيق مع شركات الطيران وشركات الشحن ومكاتب DSV المحلية والخارجية لعملية تسعير الشحنات.
- الحفاظ على التواصل المستمر مع البائعين والشاحنين وشركات النقل ومكاتب DSV الخارجية طوال عملية عرض الأسعار واختيار التوجيه المناسب المناسب لاحتياجات العميل.
