About Universal Marine Company
Universal Marine Company (UMC - previously known as National Containers Company: ‘NCC’) was incorporated in Kuwait in 1996 by a group of eminent Kuwaiti businessmen after the liberation of Kuwait from Iraq invasion. ↔️
The vision of these businessmen was to cater best container services to the shipping lines which was not existing in Kuwait.
The company initially was registered with shareholding of Kuwait Port Authority (KPA), United Arab Shipping Company (UASC) and other eminent Kuwaiti business men.UMC had its registered office in Kuwait Port Authority building, and in 2011 the Head Office had been shifted to AL-JOAN Tower, 23rd Floor, Fahad Al-Salem Street in Kuwait City for more convenience and development activity.
The Company has 15,000 SQ.MT area for its storage depot, work shop & repair facilities which is located in the strategic location at outside of Shuaiba Port entrance which is very accessible to all shipping lines for their easiness in related operations.
Universal Marine Company is appointed as the Authorized Service Centre for CARRIER TRANSICOLD in 2005 and started repairs and maintenance of Reefer Container Machinery. At the end of 2006 we also become the Authorized Service Center for THERMO KING, STAR COOL & DAIKIN.
End of 2006 with the new Management of UMC diversified the business in marine industry and also to other Middle-East areas. UMC implemented new concepts and ideas and concentrating more on reefer business which resulted improvement in the business and now UMC became the efficient and professional service provider in the area.
Truck / Trailer Driver
We are hiring experienced Truck/Trailer Drivers with a valid heavy driving license in Kuwait.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate trucks and trailers to transport goods.
- Follow company policies and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Valid heavy driving license.
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Ability to work under pressure.

تأسست شركة يونيفرسال مارين (UMC - المعروفة سابقًا باسم شركة الحاويات الوطنية: 'NCC') في الكويت عام 1996 من قبل مجموعة من رجال الأعمال الكويتيين البارزين بعد تحرير الكويت من الغزو العراقي.
وكانت رؤية رجال الأعمال هؤلاء هي تقديم أفضل خدمات الحاويات لخطوط الشحن التي لم تكن موجودة في الكويت.
تم تسجيل الشركة في البداية بمساهمين من مؤسسة موانئ الكويت وشركة الملاحة العربية المتحدة ورجال أعمال كويتيين بارزين آخرين. وكان مكتب الشركة المسجل في مبنى مؤسسة موانئ الكويت، وفي عام 2011 تم نقل المكتب الرئيسي إلى برج الجون، الطابق 23، شارع فهد السالم في مدينة الكويت لمزيد من الراحة ونشاط التطوير.
تتمتع الشركة بمساحة 15000 متر مربع لمستودعاتها وورشة العمل ومرافق الإصلاح والتي تقع في موقع استراتيجي خارج مدخل ميناء الشعيبة والذي يمكن الوصول إليه بسهولة من جميع خطوط الشحن لسهولة العمليات ذات الصلة.
تم تعيين شركة Universal Marine كمركز خدمة معتمد لشركة CARRIER TRANSICOLD في عام 2005 وبدأت في إصلاح وصيانة آلات حاويات التبريد. وفي نهاية عام 2006 أصبحنا أيضًا مركز خدمة معتمد لشركة THERMO KING وSTAR COOL وDAIKIN.
في نهاية عام 2006، ومع الإدارة الجديدة لشركة UMC، تم تنويع الأعمال في مجال الصناعة البحرية وأيضًا في مناطق أخرى في الشرق الأوسط. نفذت شركة UMC مفاهيم وأفكار جديدة وركزت بشكل أكبر على أعمال التبريد مما أدى إلى تحسن الأعمال وأصبحت شركة UMC الآن مزود خدمة فعال ومهني في المنطقة.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية:
- تشغيل الشاحنات والمقطورات بأمان لنقل البضائع.
- الالتزام بسياسات الشركة ولوائح السلامة.
المتطلبات:
- رخصة قيادة ثقيلة سارية المفعول.
- إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية (قراءة وكتابة وتحدثًا).
- القدرة على العمل تحت الضغط.
