ELV Department Manager

GENERIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
1.Department Management: Manage and oversee the ELV department assuming full responsibility for actual project income and balance sheet performance to budget.
2.Financial Management: Develop departmental budgets and operate within them.
3.Relationship Management: Work with the management and various stakeholders to establish overall objectives regarding sales, production, profits, quality, staff development, monitoring progress and ensuring achievement
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
4.Process & Procedure: Manage and lead engineering and commissioning teams to complete integration of 3rd party systems; provide technical support to sales department, engineering department and procurement department during the design and pricing phase; create all related method of statement for the pre-commissioning and commissioning as per standard codes with respect to project specifications; design BMS riser diagrams for projects according to different protocols; define sequence of operations for various mechanical equipment; approve program logic and syntax proposed by programmers; procurement of local material needed during execution phase.
5.Department Strategy: Prepare and finalize all related maintenance contracts with end users and facilities company after handover; work to increase net worth, reduce costs and increase cash flow of division constantly monitoring volume of work and job mix for maximum effect.
6.Relationship Management: Coordinate with project engineers to ensure the BMS & SMS design is executed as per specification requirements; follow up with clients during project execution phase to assure customer satisfaction; supervise subcontractors work site and testing and commissioning team up with clients during execution phase to assure customer satisfaction; follow up on all awarded jobs with MEP contractors providing technical clarification and commercial negotiation if needed; coordinate with consultant offices to prepare the design for BMS systems with respect to JCI/SE network schematics
Quality Assurance: Review and approve all related shop drawings before consultant submission for any modification required; attend and ensure attendance to monthly OHSE meetings; hand over of projects and obtaining check list from HVAC and LV contractors and consultants.

المهارات
Education
·Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent electrical engineering degree.
·PMP certified is an advantage
Knowledge
·Extensive knowledge in electrical products and services
·Extensive knowledge of ELV products and services
Experience:
· Minimum 17 years’ experience in mechanical and ELV projects
·Minimum 10 years’ experience with Siemens and JCI systems
·Experience in project management software (MS Project / Primavera)
·Experience in client relationship and contracting and subcontracting relations
