You will be working as a Senior Service Sales Engineer, and will be the part of Motion Business Area for Service Division based in Kuwait, UAE. In this role you will be reporting to Local Business Area Manager and will be responsible to accelerate and expand MOSE (Motion service business) in Kuwait also get ABB to the preferred position with end users, based on quick and reliable support, digital tools etc.
Your responsibilities
Prepare growth-oriented sales plans using company tools. Own and implement the sales plan and perform regular status reviews and propose recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls.
Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promoting customer understanding of full products/systems/services offering, aligning to provide a solution, and successfully closing the orders.
Enquiry Generation for complete MOSE Service Portfolio and generate opportunities, so that orders can be achieved during the financial year and further pipeline can be developed for growth in further years. Promote MOSE- advance services & VAS (Value added services).
Focus on maintenance activities at site and take support from drive/motor workshops and remote support teams if job cannot be performed at site. Ensure that all related activities meet legal and ethical compliance requirements in accordance with overall company policies & procedures are conducted with employee safety as a priority and are aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.
Complete Installed base mapping to ensure that more than 95% of installed base is allotted to site and Service level agreements are signed with major accounts. 7-8 customer visits in a week and study the Installations/Technical Specs and prepare/Submit offers for complete MOSE- Portfolio. Ensure 95% accurate forecasting of orders and develop Service Channel Partner review and corrective actions.
Perform Lifecycle assessments of Installed Base and generate leads using the same. Hand over the orders to PM or OH but own the ownership till successful execution. Have a kickoff meeting with respective PM and customers based on project nature and follow up payments. Promote drive workshop and follow the sun concept to enhance connected devices in the region.
Organize customized technical events to improve ABB’s acceptability with end users.

Your background
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of work experience.
Good knowledge on drives, motors (LV and MV) and PLCs.
Experience in Oil & Gas, petrochemicals, power, water, metals and cement segments for better understanding and application of MOSE portfolio.
Knowledge of retrofits/modernization of complex projects and selections such as energy efficiency, cranes, Drive controls, motors (LV and MV), PLC and DCS related scope will be a plus.
Excellent oral and written communication in English language.

Your responsibilities
Identify new suppliers in cooperation with relevant category team. Qualify new suppliers in cooperation with supplier quality and engineering specialists.
Negotiate agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renew pricelists, terms and conditions and adapt corporate contractual framework to the local business needs. Recommend frame agreements to management and execute upon approval.
Analyze and evaluate bids in order to determine the optimal value. Support bid and proposal teams by providing relevant market information.
Track goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensure invoice processing. Oversee supplier performance (on time delivery, quality, lead time), and resolve performance issues.
Initiate purchase orders (PO) in the system, according to the Purchase Requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirms delivery with suppliers, monitor and track supplier performance to purchase order requirements. Align supplier orders with customer requirements (based on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/project requirements) in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability and price.
Conduct all procurement & logistics activities for all goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures. Ensure pro-supply global supplier relationship management platform is kept updated as defined in pro-supply procedure.
Your background
Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Min 3yrs as a buyer overall 7-10 years and from Oil & Gas industry.
Must have fluent English, capability to talk with vendors.
Should have right knowledge of the market, contract conditions, legal documents.
Negotiation skills (pricing, interaction with bank and contract t&c-s).

Your responsibilities
Respect company group directives policies and compliance, work toward achievement of overall ABB Electrification Kuwait Target.
Ensure defined targets from Building Automation, Emergency lighting and BMS are achieved through System Integrators (SI) from local market.
Provide realistic forecast and to ensure corrective actions for the gap between the actual and forecast, coordinate with client, consultant, contractor and SIs to ensure profitable sales of Electrification products in projects. Assure market segment coverage in terms of Hospitality, Smart home, Commercial applications.
Establish good relationship with Key accounts & customers in the marketplace and follow-up projects closely from the tendering stage. Measure percentage of ABB share compared to competitors with each channel to enhance our share.
Coordinate sales and marketing efforts that require SI participation coordinate the communication, promotion, and training activities in the channel. Ensure effective channel management, better market coverage, new customer hunt, product knowledge, selling (with feature then with price) and presentation skills for better sales.
Monthly review with all the channels and key accounts with MOM with clear action plan. Coordinate with sales support, logistic & supply chain to have smooth execution of orders/projects. Prepare offers in coordination with the Sales support. Ensure appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.
To work on upstream with consultants to specify ABB full product range for projects under design. Provide regular updates on new products, catalogues, literatures to consultants and clients and generate updated version of specification.

4 to 6 Years, Sales and Marketing in Building Automaton, Emergency Lighting and BMS.
Local market experience preferred.
