Job Summary:
The E-commerce Specialist will be responsible for administering a state-of-the-art Magento 2 E-commerce platform and managing the day-to-day E-commerce operations including: category/product configuration, website content updates, and feature/functionality setup and end-to-end testing. The E-commerce Specialist will be responsible for monitoring online transactions and enhancing the online customer experience. In addition, the E-commerce Specialist will be working closely with the corporate call center to provide them with the required support needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for configuring and maintaining Magento administrative settings
Maintain strong working relationships internally and liase along with development team for extensions, upgrades and customizations.
Responsible for developing and administrating payment gateway settings
Monitor and support everyday e-commerce transactions and work closely with the corporate call center for providing them with required support for ensuring customer satisfaction.
Evaluating, adapting, troubleshooting and increasing the web effectiveness to new requirements as necessary while addressing & resolving complex/ simple tasks or problems/issues
Work along with web developer in maintaining, improving functionalities and ensuring performance in keeping a track of current & emerging industry trends.
Work to source and create relevant and engaging web content as per customer needs/wants so as to be effective in generating significant web traffic
Updating, modifying, developing and testing existing software and generic applications
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/ Engineering/ E Commerce or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field
Knowledge of E Commerce technology and sophisticated analytics
Analytical skill, interpret test result, drawing conclusion and creative thinker
Magento certification and experience with cyber source payment gateway is added advantage
Effective communication, interpersonal skills and timely decision making
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
