1- Medical Representative

Job Description

Arranging appointments with doctors, pharmacists and hospital medical teams, which may include pre-arranged appointments or regular 'cold' calling;

Making presentations to doctors, practice staff and nurses and pharmacists in the hospital. Presentations may take place in medical settings during the day, or may be conducted in the evenings at a local hotel or conference venue;

Organizing conferences for doctors and other medical staff

Building and maintaining positive working relationships with medical staff and supporting administrative staff;

Keeping detailed records of all contacts;

Reaching (and if possible exceeding) annual sales targets;

Must be able to define an overall strategy on an annual basis to drive sales growth in assigned area set by the Sales & Key accounts manager.

Demonstrate an effective understanding of competitive action in the assigned area and work to develop a plan to address problem areas

Prepare analysis and development for an overall methodology strategy on the current market and proposed to Sales & key accounts manager

Perform as required the sales prospecting activities.

Once the customer purchase has occurred, the medical representative will provide on-site product follow-up to ensure customers are satisfied.

Keeping up with the latest clinical data supplied by the company and interpreting, presenting and discussing this data with health professionals during presentations.

Monitoring competitor activity and competitors' products services.

Developing strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to contacts in the medical and healthcare sector;

Staying informed about the activities of health services in a particular area;

Working with team managers to plan how to approach contacts and creating effective business plans for making sales in a particular area.

Medical Representative can spend much of their time traveling to and visiting with prospective customers.

Perform other related duties supplementary to the work described herein.

Skills

A qualified, experienced Medical Representative

Minimum 3 years’ experience in Kuwait

Has knowledge and understanding of relevant protocols and compliance guidelines.

Computer skills and ability to use the company data-base, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Bilingual - English/Arabic / Spoken & Written

Requirements:

Kuwaiti transferrable residency article 18

Kuwaiti driving license is a must

Bachelor’s Degree Pharmaceutical science

2- Unit Manager

Operations:

Prepares, influences and follows up on execution of business plan/strategies and Sales Fundamentals targets( SOD,SOS,SOF) through market expertise and competitive assessment

Prioritize brand and customer requirements in line with company objectives

Manages the involvement of all sales workforce team, including customer support, service and management resources, so that team performance and objectives and customer expectations are met

Proactively inspects sales activities and efforts among the sales team managed, ensuring that the quality and quantity of sales effort meets business expectations

Takes a proactive leadership role in selling to customers, analyzing and improving market share, in addition to anticipating and resolving emerging problems Proactively inspects sales activities and efforts among sales team ensuring quality / BIC executions

Meets and delivers monthly initiatives, revenue forecast and develops sales tools and collateral plans

Identifies deficiencies in skills among sales team and works to improve team capabilities through coaching, development and training

Manages the assigned budget to meet objectives

Briefs and trains sales force during meetings

Builds peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key management personnel

Performs other tasks as delegated by superior

Educational Qualification and Experience


General Degree or Diploma with preference for Business Administration or related field.

Minimum of 5- 7 years of experience in the same or related field.

Competitive knowledge of trading area & local market trends

Ability to use best practiced business tools & standards


3- Account Manager

Operations:

Sells volume, distribution, merchandising, shelving and pricing
Helps the trade customers resell endorsed brands
Establishes goodwill with customers /key Stakeholders
Operates efficiently and economically
Ensures excellent deployment for the shelving, visibility or display contracts
Plans, negotiates and executes all customer in store activities, Events, initiatives on a monthly basis to meet company and customer objectives
Controls budgets and allocations professionally, and, where applicable
Ensures payments from trade are collected on time
Reflects in daily work, our core values and principles with customers, employees, colleagues and management
Updates Unit Manager with the requested data accurately and on time (stocks, estimates, daily sales, pricing, competition, etc.)
Train, coach, monitor and motivate the merchandisers regularly to ensure achievement of maximum productivity
Utilize Efficient Customer Response (ECR) and Category Management approach where applicable
Learn /utilize conceptual selling, in addition to practicing g/ Applying CBD college 1 at all times
Takes the initiative to recommend breakthrough ideas that leads to business development
Manages trade inventory levels as per set targets
Ensures application of training in post-formal training period
Exerts team-building efforts in supporting colleagues and other functions to deliver unit's desired results through "Search, Share and Re-Apply" proven successes in your section
Adheres to Department Policies and Procedures
Performs other related duties and responsibilities as directed by the head/s of the department

Educational Qualification and Experience

General Degree or Diploma with preference for Business Administration or related field
University Graduate or extensive experience in the field
Basic Computer Skills (Microsoft Office)
Ability to use best practiced business tools & standards
