Requirements:
Diploma (or equivalent) in Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Field
1 – 3 years of working experience in the HVAC industry / field
A valid driving license is a plus
Knowledge of:
Principles and practices of HVAC equipment’s maintenance and repair in line with industry practices & manufacturer’s guidelines
Hazar & Safety practices and procedures used in installing, repairing & maintaining HVAC equipment and MSDS sheets.
Overall understanding & practices of tools utilization & management
Preparation & filling of inspection reports / Technical reports
Overall understanding & complying with quality management practices as per company standards & any other applicable quality standards
Good English knowledge in terms of speaking, writing, reading & listening
Communication & interpersonal skills, team player & customer oriented
Basic understanding & knowledge of Metal sheets, electrical, carpentry & Building Automation controls
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
Follow standard processes to accomplish tasks (Understand & follow oral and written directions)
Essential Task Description: (daily tasks and duties) including daily timesheet
Attend & complete assigned tasks within the assigned time to the best ability and ensure quality services & customer satisfaction. Leave the site clean & neat
Keep customers informed about the task nature & progress upon site arrival & prior to leaving the work site. Share outstanding issues & suggested enhancements / recommendations
Fill up Job Completion Certificate / Job Card / EH&S site surveys
Inspect air-conditioning units to ensure efficient operation & diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions and make recommendations
Make estimates of labor hours & materials required
Prepare Inspection reports (Site condition, SOW & Technical recommendations)
Possess basic knowledge of computers and cell phone apps
Repair and replace damaged parts
Work independently in the absence of supervision
Perform regularly scheduled maintenance & Maintain maintenance records
Adjust and maintain internal electrical and electronic control systems; clean coils, blowers, checks motors, and belt tensions.
Work closely with colleagues as part of an integrated team
Recognize safety hazards commonly found in HVAC operations, and identify and implement appropriate controls to ensure safe work
Identify situations that require escalation or elevation to Supervisor or Manager for guidance or need to request additional support
Able to rig & properly set up gantry for safely lifting equipment, overhauling pumps, chillers, etc.
Manage & organize machinery tools pickup, delivery, usage & inventory as applicable
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as required
Recognize and identify potential risks and hazards associated with performing all work-related duties safely
Attend regular (EH&S / Technical) Trainings & meetings
