Job Description
GDIT has an opportunity for a Field Service Technician supporting Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS) in Arifjan, Kuwait. This position requires someone with a current and active Secret clearance. Must have CompTIA Security+ ce Certification.
Requirements
Primarily supports software family of systems: Fires - includes field artillery digital coordinating systems. Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS), Pocket-Sized Forward Entry Device (PFED), CENTAUR Light Weight Technical Fire Direction System, and similar handheld device) and Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (JADOCS). Specializes in supporting Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS).
Initialize, install and troubleshoot software interfaces of Fires, which includes field artillery digital coordinating systems such as AFATDS.
Perform analyses of system operations.
Routine system maintenance and analysis functions includes: hardware configurations, adding, removing and replacing hardware components; use of hardware and software diagnostic testing tools; reading of electronic circuit schematics; and repairing printed circuit boards.
Qualifications
AA/AS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience
Must have a current and active Secret clearance.
CompTIA Security + CE required.
Must have knowledge of and experience in the operations of hardware systems and components.
US Passport
Ability to pass CRC requirements to deploy.

GDIT has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer Senior WARFIGHTER INFORMATION NETWORK – TACTICAL, INCREMENT 1 (WIN-T INC1) REGIONAL HUB NODE (RHN) for Arifjan, Kuwait. The FSR must be able to perform the following tasks:
Install, Configure, and Maintain VMWare vSphere (ESXi and vCenter 6.0 or later);

Job is located in Kuwait. Maintains an organization's computer systems' workflows and is responsible for the upkeep, configuration and reliable operation of computer systems, including fixing network issues along with updating equipment and software. Creates and administers profiles and accounts and maintains systems documentation. Tunes system performance for optimal conditions. Installs system-wide software.
Design, plan, implement, and administer enterprise blade server and storage technologies in support of underlying virtualization infrastructure.
Support and troubleshoot NSX.
Develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
Develop and implement testing strategies and document results.
Evaluate vendor products.
Provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff members.
Install, configure and integrate servers associated with a VMware virtual infrastructure.
Performing backups, troubleshooting and problem resolution for servers associated with a VMware virtual infrastructure.
Build highly available server clusters in a vSphere environment.
Build and configuring virtual networks.
Create and maintain VM templates used for rapid deployment of virtual machines.

DoD 8570 IAT Level II (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP)
Computing environment certification in VMware (VCP-DCV), Cisco (CCNP-DC), or similar technology within 6 months of hire.
