SEOUL DERMA - Health Center Located at Alhamra tower 49 floor.
Job Purpose
Responsible for carrying out nursing services activities within the clinic; providing the required assistance to clinical Physicians/Surgeons in terms of conducting patient care activities; ensuring high quality safe & smooth running of medical clinics and procedures of patient care; collecting patients’ required information; maintaining adequate supply of consumable and non-consumable items; maintaining a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients as well as providing information and assistance to the patients and their families as appropriate.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Nursing Services Activities
Conduct patients’ medical assessment upon their entry, and ensure timely collection of demographic information and basic health history information, family diseases, allergies against drugs/food, etc.
Collect and document information systematically and comprehensively, through assessment, interview, observation and other sources of data.
Provide pre and post-treatment care for patients, monitor and administer medication provided as guided by the assigned Physician.
Prepare clinical treatment rooms for Physicians/Surgeons operations as per the pre-set procedures and protocols.
Ensure that treatment and medications are carried out in accordance with physicians/surgeons instructions, Clinic’s standards, governmental bodies (MOH) and other regulatory standards.
Initiate action to reduce / correct / prevent actual or potential risks to patients and colleagues and seek additional knowledge/assistance when presented with unfamiliar situations/patient conditions.
Assess information and data regarding the patients’ culture, lifestyle, and interest and other factors that may positively impact their treatment outcomes.
Ensure that all concerns, complaints and issues are brought to the attention of the Direct Manager in a timely and effective manner, in accordance with Service policies and procedures.
Participate in the quality improvement process which lead to the adoption of improved policies / protocols for the Service and implement quality improvement initiatives and communicate observed deviations to Head Nurse.
Provide basic education information to patients and their families focusing on self-care, while taking into consideration the appropriateness to their age and medical conditions.
Adhere to the guidelines pertaining to the disposal of bio-hazardous materials and the labelling protocols of all materials.
Observe safe work practices, rules and instructions related to work, and promote an environment of physical, occupational, cultural, ethical and legal safety.
Maintain confidentiality of patient records and communicate the same to the required stakeholders when needed.
Perform other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager.
