About the job
The candidate must use his/her creativity, sense of fashion and awareness of trends to showcase, deliver and communicate visual concepts and strategies to promote City Centre brands & labels and turn them into sales.
Responsibilities
- Liaises with teams, such as category management, marketing and creative to showcase design themes and plans, often months in advance (commercial calendar plan), including window and in-store diplays, signage and pricing concepts.
- Initiates unique visual presentations.
- Innovates and implements seasonal merchandising presentations.
- Displays/Exploits merchandise with visual appeals to attract customers.
- Integrates brand images in visual presentations throughout the stores and monitors merchandise inventories.
- Ensures replenishment and availability of fast-selling items.
- Coordinates with Store Management Team on key visual merchandising efforts.
- Designs and implements key visual elements including styling of bust forms, leg forms and henry-hangers.
- Organizes and adjusts lighting systems to enhance visual elements.
- Ensures compliance of brand standards in visual merchandising efforts.
- Conducts researches on current and future trends in design and lifestyle, and associated target market features.
- Visits stores on a routine basis and trains the Sales Staff in store visual merchandising techniques and concepts.
- Seeks feedback from colleagues and customers on the visual impact of displays and implemented changes; and relays them to the Store/Category Management Teams.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in the same field.
- fashion flair, conscious of latest styles and trends, knowledgeable of popular brands, fashion terms & terminology.
- Good communication skills.
- Confident in creating and communicating concepts in business meetings and to superiors.
- Degree in business, marketing or related field preferred.
