Windows Server Administrator
About the job
Windows Administrator Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science.
- 5 or more years’ experience as Server and Systems administrator
- Excellent experience using different Hypervisors, eg, Hyper-V and VMware
- Virtual clustering and troubleshooting experience with Hyper-V and VMware
- Proven work experience as a Windows Administrator is preferred.
- Detailed knowledge of Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance.
- Ability to create scripts in Perl, Python, and similar languages.
- Experience with databases, patch management, and networks including LAN and WAN.
- Familiarity with modern operating systems and server platforms.
- Knowledge of network security systems, intrusion detection systems, and data backup.
- Significant and successful experience designing, implementing and managing Office 365 in the enterprise, including but not limited to Exchange Online, Azure, SharePoint, OneDrive, ADFS, OneNote, etc.
- Excellent business continuity and disaster recovery methodologies and practice
- managing Microsoft Active Directory in the enterprise, including creating bulk user accounts, deleting and modifying user accounts, setting up e-mail, home directories, with the TCP/IP v4 and v6 protocol, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, SMTP, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, ICMP, Microsoft System Centre DPM, SCCM and SCOM
- FortiGate Firewall Management
- Microsoft SQL knowledge, hardware and software troubleshooting
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Arabic/English Upper Intermediate
