Head of Accounting
Tasks:
- The candidate is responsible for developing and maintaining a robust finance- and accounting structure, including but not limited to budgeting, reporting, controlling, and consolidating the Group's entities; alternatingly, hereinafter called the “company”.
Supervisory Role:
- The Head of Accounting supervises end-of-period processes and supports the analysis of the periodical business performance, budgets, and forecasts. As a successful candidate, the future incumbent is held to keep fostering adherence to applicable accounting standards and steadily monitoring changes that may cause implications to the company’s “books & records”.
- He/she also leads the accounting department in the establishment of risk management procedures as well as the updating of those procedures.
- As the leader of the accounting department, the Head of Accounting is charged with motivating, developing, and creating a departmental culture and vision, taking responsibility for the success or failure of the quarterly/annual audit process.
Policy Formation:
- The Head of Accounting plays a leading role in furthering the company’s financial policies and procedures and ensures their consistency across the accounting department, with the objective to contribute to the achievement of the business’ overall goals and objectives.
Collaboration and Support:
- The Head of Accounting collaborates with various internal and external personnel in the execution of his/her function. He/she liaises with senior personnel in deciding on processes, and procedures to be applied in the department and across the entire business.
- The Head of accounting also collaborates with external partners, particularly in all matters regarding auditing and taxation.
Documentation & Reporting:
- The successful candidate leads the department in the documentation of all financial books and records, prepares reports in reflection of the revenue quarterly/annual processes, and develops reports on all accounting related matters inclusive of taxation matters.
- These reports render the basis of pro-active advice and recommendations on the business’s financial approaches from an accounting and taxation perspective.
Financial Analysis:
- The Head of Accounting is also tasked with the preparation of accounts, the conduct of quarterly/annual auditing and the final preparation of the company’s “books & records”; this extends to the preparation and monitoring of the business’ annual budgets and the liaising with external auditors.
- In this capacity, the Head of Accounting ensures that there is a proactive engagement in implementing audit findings with a view to improving the business’s overall financial performance.
Requirements:
Must-have:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field; the candidate will also be better suited with CPA and further finance qualifications such as ACA, ACCA/FCCA.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of working experience in a leading accounting position within a fast-paced and dynamic environment, preferably as a Senior Accountant.
- Thorough understanding of VAT implications and -management, including foreign tax legislation.
- Good understanding of essential legal requirements in client- and vendor-based agreements.
- Well-versed with the financial reporting of Projects in construction or similar industries, as well as with the financial administration of corporate entities.
- Ability to quickly grasp and adapt to new legal and financial regulations.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong Office 365 skills (Excel, OneDrive, SharePoint, Word, Outlook, Teams).

رئيس قسم المحاسبة
المهام:
- يتحمل المرشح مسؤولية تطوير وصيانة هيكل مالي ومحاسبي قوي، بما في ذلك على سبيل المثال لا الحصر إعداد الميزانية وإعداد التقارير والتحكم وتوحيد كيانات المجموعة؛ والتي يشار إليها فيما بعد باسم "الشركة".

متطلبات:
يجب أن يكون لديك:
- - درجة البكالوريوس في التمويل أو إدارة الأعمال أو مجال ذي صلة؛ كما سيكون المرشح أكثر ملاءمة مع المحاسب القانوني المعتمد (CPA) والمؤهلات المالية الإضافية مثل ACA وACCA/FCCA.
