ATM Technician
Job Summary
- The ATM Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing automated teller machines (ATMs) for financial institutions.
- They provide technical support to bank personnel and customers to ensure the smooth operation of ATMs.
Key Responsibilities
- o Perform routine maintenance and repairs on ATMs, such as replacing worn-out parts, lubricating mechanisms, and cleaning keypads
- o Troubleshoot and diagnose ATM software and hardware issues
- o Install and configure new ATMs and related hardware, such as modems, printers, and card readers
- o Keep track of ATM inventory levels and order replacement parts as needed
- o Provide technical support to bank personnel and customers, address inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner
- o Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on ATMs
- o Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, particularly with regard to security and data privacy
Qualifications
o High school diploma or GED equivalent
- o Associate degree in a relevant field, such as electronics or computer science (preferred)
- o Minimum of 2 years of experience in ATM maintenance and repair
- o Proficiency in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- o Experience with ATM software and related systems, such as transaction processing and card management (preferred)
- o Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- o Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- o Willingness to work outside of regular business hours, as needed
- o Valid driving license is a must.
- o Transferable residency is a must.
