Pre-Sales Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical)
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Pre- Sales Engineer. Handling Tenders for K Companies (KOC, KNPC & Other Clients).
Responsibilities:
[object NodeList][object NodeList]- 1. Tender Management: Handling tenders issued by KOC, KNPC, and other clients for various product categories, including Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics, HVAC, and Safety.
- 2. Inquiry Evaluation: Evaluating potential inquiries to determine participation feasibility.
- 3. RFQ Management: Forwarding Requests for Quotations (RFQs) to potential sources in local and international locations.
- 4. Negotiation: Negotiating financial, technical, and delivery terms with manufacturers and suppliers to maintain a competitive edge.
- 5. Procurement Management: Managing procurement of products and services, including negotiation and drafting of Purchase Orders (P.O) and contracts terms and conditions. Ensuring compliance with all related laws and regulations.
- 6. Custom RFQs: Generating custom RFQs based on client-issued inquiries and conducting research for special products.
- 7. Supplier Sourcing: Identifying the right manufacturers and suppliers based on client tender requirements.
- 8. Correspondence: Managing email correspondence with manufacturers and suppliers.
- 9. Offer Evaluation: Evaluating offers received from suppliers based on technical and financial parameters.
- 10. Cost Analysis: Preparing costing/comparison sheets for multiple offers received. Creating final costing sheets incorporating all terms and conditions, including payments, delivery times, and deviations.
Qualifications:
- • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical Preferred)
- • Proven experience in tender management pre-qualification processes, and business development within the Kuwait market.
- • Strong organizational and project management skills.
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- • Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
