Job Title: Advanced Field Service Engineer

About the Job:

Join the industry leader to design the next generation of breakthroughs at Honeywell in Kuwait. As an Advanced Field Service Engineer, you will provide advanced technical facilitation and expertise to our customers in the Industrial Automation (IA) business unit. You will be accountable for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring the successful implementation of our solutions, and driving customer satisfaction. Your expertise and dedication to excellence will play a crucial role in the success of our field service operations and the growth of our business. You will report directly to our Field Service Engineering Manager.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency, productivity, and safety of our customers' operations by providing exceptional technical facilitation and service.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain an accurate cyber-Database of the Installed Base by updating the Repository.
Perform or ensure cyber–Preventative Maintenance Tasks are completed on time.
Keep customers informed on technical notifications and advise on recommended corrective actions.
Issue Monthly reports to Customers on activities and system health as per the Reporting Guidelines.
Act as a Trusted Advisor to Clients, collaborating with or independently from Sales to inform clients of new technology or services that add value.
Assist with driving awareness for breakthrough initiatives.
Work with Solution Architect to Maintain the Automation Plans.
Provide technical leadership for projects, including coordination and planning.
Define required deliverables as per the GPM, and collaborate with PM to develop schedules.
Ensure deliverable quality and accuracy; proactively drive delivery/schedule, managing customer and team to ensure timely project delivery within budget.
Maintain data and prepare as well as drive project gate reviews as per Honeywell GPM practices.
Proactively engage and inform the Project Manager of resource requirements.
Drive all technical issues as liaison with TAC to ensure successful resolution.
Proactively manage risks and opportunities, keeping the PM informed.
Stay technically current with the HPS/HCI product/systems portfolio, maintaining expert knowledge on designated cybersecurity disciplines.
Provide services including on-site consulting, troubleshooting, network designs, implementations, assessments, and other related tasks as identified.
Offer 24/7 support for assigned clients as per the Stand-By Roster issued monthly.
Support the development of Kuwait LSS resources through knowledge sharing and active mentoring of assigned mentees.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a computer/electrical related field (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electronics/Electrical) or a minimum of 7 years’ experience in industrial automation network systems engineering in lieu of degree.
Minimum certification L3/L4 or OPM L4 in handling Honeywell DCS (TPS & EPKS) & experience with CCNI and virtualization (preferably VMware).
7 years’ experience as a Senior FSE, with a minimum certification of L3/L4 and/or OPM L4 in handling Honeywell DCS (TPS & EPKS).
Experience in project environments with commissioning and SAT experience, and a minimum of 2 years with virtualization experience.
CCNI and Cybersecurity certification are distinct advantages.
Strong technical knowledge and expertise in industrial cybersecurity.
Preferred CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional or similar security certification.
Preferred CISCO Certified Network/Design/Security Professional (at least one) – must currently be certified or in the process of certification/renewal.
Basic knowledge of Linux/Windows Security.
5+ years of working with IT Security, 5+ years in Industrial Networking, 2+ years leading Security Projects, and 2+ years performing audits/assessments.
Proficient in Cyber Security Risk Analysis and Process Control System design/implementation.
Excellent troubleshooting skills to resolve complex network, application, or system integration issues.
Familiarity with Fault Tolerant Ethernet (Honeywell product).
Experience with virtualization, preferably VMWare.
Preferred Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.
Experience performing network services at customer sites, with experience in LAN/WAN architectures & related diagnostic tools, and designing and optimizing complex LAN environments.
Knowledge of LAN/WAN and wireless networking principles and protocols, including Ethernet, TCP/IP, VLAN, WLAN, Frame Relay, Firewall, DMZ, VPN, IDS, switches, routers, and firewalls.
Proficient in TCP/IP protocols – SMTP, SNMP, FTP, HTTP, SSH, SSL.
Experience with Network Security – Firewall, ACL, IDS, IPS, SIEM.
Specific experience in Cisco Routers, Switches, or Firewalls.
Familiarity with Microsoft – Active Directory, DNS, WSUS, Terminal Server.
Experience with anti-virus systems, backup & restore solutions, and system management.
Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in project management and execution.
