Lead Estimating Engineer
About the Job
We are currently seeking a Lead Estimating Engineer to join our team based in Ahmadi, Kuwait. This role reports directly to the Projects Control Manager.
About The Role:
Your main missions and responsibilities will include:
- Collecting and providing information required from the market to complete all classes of estimates, from conceptual to detailed, according to client requirements and standards.
- Assisting in reviewing, verifying, and reformatting estimates as necessary to meet client specifications.
- Preparing required documentation and participating in the review/finalization of bid evaluations related to the breakdown of costs and quantities.
- Interfacing with other departments and discipline engineers to analyze, prepare, and finalize the cost impact of any changes or deviations from signed EPC contracts, with close follow-up and coordination for bill of quantities and firming up final costs.
- Participating in the development and maintenance of an up-to-date detailed estimating data bank for labor, materials, equipment, consumables, and installation rates and variables applicable to both local and international markets.
- Completing any other tasks assigned by your line manager as necessary.
About You:

- A minimum of 12 years of total experience.
- At least 8 years in the Oil & Gas, Refinery, or Petrochemical sectors.
- A minimum of 5 years in the related designation or discipline.

حول الدور:
ستشمل مهامك ومسؤولياتك الرئيسية:
- جمع وتقديم المعلومات المطلوبة من السوق لإكمال جميع فئات التقديرات، من المفاهيم إلى التفاصيل، وفقًا لمتطلبات ومعايير العميل.
- المساعدة في مراجعة وتأكيد وإعادة صياغة التقديرات حسب الحاجة لتلبية مواصفات العميل.
- إعداد الوثائق المطلوبة والمشاركة في مراجعة/إنهاء تقييم العروض المتعلقة بتفاصيل التكاليف والكميات.
- التواصل مع الأقسام الأخرى ومهندسي التخصص لتحليل وتحضير وإنهاء تأثير التكاليف لأي تغييرات أو انحرافات عن العقود الموقعة، مع المتابعة الدقيقة والتنسيق لقوائم الكميات وتثبيت التكاليف النهائية.
- المشاركة في تطوير وصيانة قاعدة بيانات تقدير مفصلة ومحدثة للعمالة والمواد والمعدات واللوازم ومعدلات التركيب والمتغيرات المتعلقة بالسوقين المحلي والدولي.
- إكمال أي مهام أخرى يتم تكليفك بها من قبل مديرك المباشر حسب الحاجة.
