About the Role:
As a Remediation Specialist at Worley, you will be a key player in addressing environmental issues related to the design, construction, and operation of landfill installations, and other environmental remediation projects. You will assist with environmental impact assessments, project proposals, and technical correspondence, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations at every stage of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Environmental Assessment and Compliance: Assist in preparing Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), conceptual site modeling, and ensuring environmental control for projects throughout their lifecycle.
- Client Communication: Prepare and present technical correspondence, reports, work plans, project proposals, and project specifications, including cost estimates and budgets.
- Regulatory Compliance: Interpret environmental regulations and investigation results, ensuring client requirements are met while adhering to the highest standards of environmental safety.
- Quality Assurance: Work within the provisions of the quality assurance system relevant to the Contaminated Sites Group, ensuring safe working practices.
- Remediation Expertise: Contribute to the development of strategies for oil-contaminated soil remediation and use remediation technologies effectively.
- Health and Safety: Ensure personal safety and follow occupational health and safety procedures for the Contaminated Sites Group.
What You Will Bring:
- Educational Background: A degree from an accredited university in an environmental or related field.
- Industry Experience: Minimum post-graduate work experience within the oil & gas or petrochemical industry, preferably with exposure to environmental projects and heavy oil projects.
- Regional Experience: A minimum of several years of work experience in a related role within a GCC country, such as Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, or the UAE.
- Technical Expertise: Experience with remediation technologies for oil-contaminated soil and developing strategies for remediation programs.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and manage client expectations effectively.
- Multicultural Experience: Ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds.

حول الوظيفة:
كأخصائي استصلاح في وورلي، ستكون لاعبًا رئيسيًا في معالجة القضايا البيئية المتعلقة بتصميم وبناء وتشغيل منشآت المدافن، ومشاريع استصلاح بيئية أخرى. ستساعد في إعداد تقييمات الأثر البيئي، واقتراحات المشاريع، والمراسلات الفنية، وضمان الامتثال للوائح البيئية في كل مرحلة من مراحل المشروع.
المسؤوليات الرئيسية:
- التقييم البيئي والامتثال: المساعدة في إعداد تقييمات الأثر البيئي (EIA)، ونمذجة الموقع المفاهيمية، وضمان التحكم البيئي للمشاريع طوال دورة حياتها.
- التواصل مع العملاء: إعداد وتقديم المراسلات الفنية، والتقارير، وخطط العمل، واقتراحات المشاريع، ومواصفات المشاريع، بما في ذلك تقديرات التكاليف والميزانيات.
- الامتثال التنظيمي: تفسير اللوائح البيئية ونتائج التحقيقات لضمان تلبية متطلبات العملاء مع الالتزام بأعلى معايير السلامة البيئية.
- ضمان الجودة: العمل ضمن أحكام نظام ضمان الجودة المتعلق بمجموعة المواقع الملوثة، وضمان اتباع ممارسات العمل الآمنة.
- الخبرة في الاستصلاح: المساهمة في تطوير استراتيجيات لاستصلاح التربة الملوثة بالنفط واستخدام تقنيات الاستصلاح بفعالية.
- الصحة والسلامة: ضمان السلامة الشخصية واتباع إجراءات الصحة والسلامة المهنية لمجموعة المواقع الملوثة.
ما الذي ستجلبه:
- المؤهل العلمي: درجة علمية من جامعة معتمدة في مجال البيئة أو في مجال ذي صلة.
- الخبرة في الصناعة: خبرة عملية لا تقل عن عدة سنوات بعد التخرج في صناعة النفط والغاز أو صناعة البتروكيماويات، ويفضل أن تكون لديك خبرة في المشاريع البيئية والمشاريع الثقيلة في النفط.
- الخبرة الإقليمية: خبرة عمل لا تقل عن عدة سنوات في وظيفة ذات صلة داخل إحدى دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي، مثل الكويت، البحرين، المملكة العربية السعودية، عمان، قطر، أو الإمارات العربية المتحدة.
- الخبرة الفنية: خبرة في تقنيات الاستصلاح للتربة الملوثة بالنفط وتطوير استراتيجيات لبرامج الاستصلاح.
- مهارات التواصل: مهارات قوية في التواصل الشفهي والكتابي، مع القدرة على بناء العلاقات وإدارة توقعات العملاء بشكل فعال.
- الخبرة متعددة الثقافات: القدرة على التفاعل بفعالية مع الأفراد من خلفيات ثقافية متنوعة.
